Despite what the final weights show, it was grind for everyone.  The sudden weather change probably had a lot to do with it, but at least the slow bite was rewarded with some nice fish.  This was definitely the day that the worm-draggers and drop-shotters showed their stuff!  Hey, when it rains, it pours...

SILVER LAKE

Another one in the books!  For most of us, it was our first visit to Silver Lake.  Stefan proved that you don't need a "Home Lake Advantage" - he found some awesome fish and followed through!

LAKE WINNISQUAM

What a day!  Beautiful weather, just enough of a breeze keep it comfortable, and some really good fish decided to come out and let us make them famous!  The water is warming and the spawn is going into full swing!  This is going to be good year!

BOW LAKE

Happy Mother's Day!  While we had a smaller turnout (understandably) and the weather was uncooperative at times, the fishing was good, the Smallmouth are getting active, and even a few Largemouth came to play.  Kudos to the group for grinding it out, doing what they could to stay dry, and bringing some nice fish to the scales!

LAKE WAUKEWAN

The first Charter Club tournament of the year has come & gone...  We welcomed a new couple that expressed interest in the club - we hope you had a good time Gary & Denise, it was nice to meet you!   What started as a chilly morning turned into a fairly nice day, and even though the water temps were still cool, it seems that some of us had a good bite.  From the sounds of all the "dock talk", fish were caught anywhere from the bank down to 20+ feet.  It can be so hard to put something together given those conditions, but as usual, someone always does.
